VIDEO: Roughly a month to go until we move in. Most

Mon, 06/07/2010 - 06:23

Roughly a month to go until we move in. Most of the bones are in place. Materials, surfaces, lighting, and finishes coming next. For reference, see the last under-construction video from May 19 and the pre-construction video from March 9.

The iPhoneography Showcase of Andy Hutchinson

Tue, 06/01/2010 - 23:00

About me: I'm a former journalist - born in the UK but now living in South Coast, New South Wales, Australia. I started out taking and developing photos myself from a young age, developing the black and white films myself in my parents bathroom with a towel over the window to keep the light out. The end results were often less than perfect and I guess that's the reason I love iPhoneography - particularly with apps like Hipstamatic.

I went the digital route myself a long time ago (I was a technology journalist so I had access to some of the earliest digital camera) but like many others (I suspect) I got too wrapped up in megapixels and lenses and the technology of photography and neglected the whole 'taking photos' side of things. So thanks to the iPhone I have a renewed interest in photography. I love taking photos in and around Bondi in Sydney (where I work) and at home in the countryside of south coast NSW. I particularly love street photography and enjoy the candid photos that are possible when you tote a device as inconspicuous as the iPhone.

Created with Admarket's flickrSLiDR.

For those viewing this showcase via their iPhone or iPad, please click HERE to view Andy's showcase.

If you would like to showcase your iPhone photos here on the iPhoneography blog, then please create your slideshow, upload it to YouTube, and then send me an email with a link to your video along with a short bio about yourself and your iPhoneography, and if suitable I will post your showcase here on the blog.
